As a financial controller, you will be responsible for the financial monitoring of one or more construction sites, analysing their performance and reporting on them, while complying with evaluation rules.
To fulfil your mission, you will work on the construction site on a regular basis, in close collaboration with the engineers and site managers.
Your main tasks are as follows:
- Establishing and monitoring a financial target to be met for each site, in collaboration with the project engineers.
- Validation of the evolution of the cost price and the selling price of the operation.
- Monitoring the progress and corresponding expenses at the end of the month, in collaboration with the construction team and the accounting department.
- Calculation of the result of the orders, at the end of the month, at the end of the financial year and at the end of the project.
- Establishment and submission of ratios at the end of the project to the “Price Study” department.
- Monthly preparation of the reporting file for each site.
- Preparation of cash flow forecasts (monthly and quarterly) for the projects you are monitoring financially.
To carry out this mission, your profile is as follows:
- Master’s degree in Management, Economics, or a similar field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in budgetary control, and ideally in auditing.
- Any experience in the construction industry is a plus.
- Languages: French + good knowledge of Dutch (written and oral). English is a plus.
- IT-minded (very good command of Microsoft Office tools).
- You are analytical, precise, thorough, and autonomous.
- You have a strong critical mind.
- You are assertive, diplomatic and you communicate easily.
- You are a team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
